Wonderful stuff. Thanks for posting the link. I'd always wondered just
how quick Bedser was off his 10 pace runup. In his estimation about
Hoggard's pace, which is certainly quicker than medium, and suggests
that he got absolutely everything possible out of his action without
any over-exertion. Which explains a lot about how he could bowl for
ever and ever with such accuracy.
